Fried Chicken + an Intimate Northern Nevada Wedding

Tucked away in a beautiful, private home in Gardnerville, Nevada, Erin and Anthony’s intimate wedding unfolded. And we must say, their wedding menu has been one of our favorites of the summer! We worked with this great couple to create a menu filled with great comfort food to fuel a night of dancing. 

To start their perfect Nevada wedding, we served our petite crab cakes with micro mango and curry yogurt. We also served pork belly steam buns with house-made pickles. 

For the main course, we served grilled flatbread topped with roasted chickpea za’atar spread. Followed by a heirloom tomato and watermelon salad with shaved cucumber and serrano, sesame and Tahini yogurt dressing. To us, a summer isn’t complete without our fill of heirloom tomatoes and juicy watermelon. Served family style, the guests enjoyed jasmine tea brined fried chicken with honey gochujang. Crispy smashed potatoes and our infamous Mexican street corn with cotija, lime and pimeton were passed. 

There’s nothing we love more than putting a twist on true comfort foods. These little touches help transform the classic wedding menu into an unforgettable feast. Comfort foods served family-style truly get guests chatting, bonding and creating special memories.
