Wedding desserts have become more than the basic multi-tiered, fondant covered wedding cake. Don't get us wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a stellar wedding cake. We have actually noticed most of our clients lean towards a full blown dessert bar with a 6-inch cake for the cutting ceremony.

Dessert bars are also not a new concept, they've been in trend for probably 5-10 years now. It's been our goal this year to make the dessert bar with a bit more direction and personality that matches our wedding couple.

One of those dessert stations we've created has been the:

We've built a custom ice cream cone display for the ULTIMATE ice cream bar. Paired with our house-made ice creams and waffle cones, guests can choose to have a scoop in a cone or in a disposable palm leaf bowl. We like to get personal with the ice cream flavors too. After all, we are making each quart from scratch. From one groom's favorite mint chip to one bride's favorite recipe for Peach Ice Cream from her grandfather's recipe, we've made it.

We think every ice cream station should have some simple classics and one flavor that's a little more daring. Roasted Pine Nut Rosemary, Balsamic Strawberry, Blueberry Earl Grey and Roasted Peach + Brown Sugar are a few we'll be making this upcoming wedding season.

With some of our weddings, we've also added ALL of the toppings. From salted caramel to chopped nuts and cookie dough, every combination under the sun is available.

Oh and it doesn't stop there. We've completed the Ice Cream Bar with COOKIES. From the classic Chocolate Chip with Maldon Salt to Brown Butter Oatmeal Raisin and Chewy Snickerdoodle, guests can even make the ultimate Ice Cream Sandwich.
